Systems Engineer

Description:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Additionally... V22 Fleet Support Systems Engineer to interface with the customer. Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; develops and sustains productive customer relationships; uses information to understand customers' circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs; periodically becomes involved in sharing information with customers to build their understanding of issues and capabilities; considers how actions or plans will affect customers; responds quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems; assists higher graded employees and/or project team leaders in implementing ways to monitor and evaluate customer concerns, issues, and satisfaction and to anticipate customer needs. Intermediate level proficiency MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Candidate must state level of proficiency (beginner, intermediate or advanced) in the following required skills:
Software Skills MS Excel Yes Intermediate
Software Skills MS PowerPoint Yes Intermediate
Software Skills MS Word Yes Intermediate

Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
Additionally...Candidates must have a four year BS degree in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Has a focused aircraft structures background with experience in solving problems related to corrosion prone areas and the ability to offer design solutions or process changes to mitigate aircraft corrosion. Must be US Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
