Pilot/First Officer I

Job Title: OP - Aviation - Pilot/First Officer I          
Start/End Dates: 8/16/2019 - 4/15/2020               
Assignment Scope: Assignment Scope:
Responsible for safe conduct of all assigned flights while operating the aircraft in accordance with company policies, Federal Aviation Regulations and aircraft limitations. Provides leadership and promoting a "zero incident safety culture. Provides safe, comfortable, and efficient transport of passengers and materials. Provides ethical and responsible representation for the company when dealing with business associates, officials, and customers per company policies. Performs pilot duties as assigned on any of the aircraft in the fleet. Performs the duties of second-in-command as assigned. Performs limited office duties as assigned in support of company needs. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience. Experienced level. Requires a strong understanding of discipline. Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations. Makes decisions within broad parameters. Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

a. Works to maintain and promote the client's zero rate incident safety culture while employing efficient procedures that support customer service.
b. Under the direction of the Chief Pilot, assists in the operation of the aircraft.
c. Checks weather conditions, forecasts, and NOTAMS as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
d. Performs navigational and communication functions in coordination with the Chief Pilot.
e. Performs a preflight and post flight inspection of the aircraft and reporting to the Chief Pilot when the inspection has been completed.
f. Maintains aircraft forms as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
g. Ensures proper fuel load and distribution prior to departure.
h. Ascertains that the appropriate navigation charts and manuals are current.
i. Maintains working knowledge of aircraft and ground security procedures.


Licenses: FAA pilot certificate.  Airline Transport Pilot certificate. Must have a valid passport and FCC restricted radiotelephone operator permit.
B737 Type rating preferred
Recent B737NG flight experience preferred

Medical: Valid, current US FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate

Experience: 1200 hours total time, 100 hours of airplane Pilot in Command time, 500 hours of multi-engine airplane time, 100 hours of multi-engine airplane Pilot in Command time, and additional requirements of 14CFR Part 125.

Ability to work in an environment exposed to high decibels of noise Knowledge of flight and emergency procedures MS-Office Products Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS)
