What You’ll Do:

Develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
Develop strong communications with internal teams to estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
Develop and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing our team’s knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
Create manufacturing documentation (bills of material, travelers, work instructions, etc)
Design, select, and procure fixtures, tools, and machinery
Implement continuous improvements to reduce defects, improve speed, and grow profitability
Resolve purchased material issues and disposition non-conforming assemblies
Provide shop floor support and training to assemblers

What You’ll Need:

Working knowledge of MS Office software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Working knowledge of Creo and/or SolidWorks
Strong skills in multitasking, problem solving, and ethical decision making
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
Solid knowledge with manufacturing processes and electrical/mechanical components, systems and applications
Solid understanding of lean techniques and statistical analysis

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, a related specialized area or field or equivalent experience combined with 2 + years of relevant experience; or Master’s Degree
