Manufacturing Engineer Tech

Description:
Our client in the Bethlehem area is looking to add two Manufacturing Engineer Tech contractors for a short term project. The Manufacturing Engineer Techs will be responsible to finalize all of the in process documentation for many of the projects underway for our client.

Manufacturing Engineer Tech Job Description:

• Build and assemble electronic systems for new products
• Document end results with step by step instructions and photos using existing formats
• Evaluate existing products, disassemble write step by step instructions with photos and using existing formats
• Analyze existing and new processes and define potential combinability of processes
• Recommend procedural changes as needed
• Work with Manufacturing engineering team to identify process improvements related to information and material flow
• Gather and extract a variety of information from several sources and verify and evaluate content prior to releasing a report. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information he or she creates or receives.

Manufacturing Engineer Tech Requirements:

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electromechanical
• Minimum of two years' experience in a production or manufacturing-oriented organization preferably electronics
• Demonstrated skills related to documenting Assembly and Testing of electrical devices.
• Experience in building electrical assemblies for new and existing products from drawings and schematics
• Excellent technical skills and demonstrated knowledge basic lean manufacturing concepts
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
• Working knowledge MS Office
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
