Process Chemical Plant Engineer Designer

Description:
*This is a full time, 9 month contract located in Kingsport, TN*

We are recruiting for a Process Chemical Engineer who will be working on setting up a chemical plant including SOW/budgeting and estimating, detailed design, construction field support, and commissioning of plant.

Daily duties will include conducting capital estimates for equipment, developing process flows, heat/material balances, piping & instrumentation design, pump sizing, heat transfer, support field construction issues, handling engineering hours for DCAA audit pricing proposals and provide field support for startup commissioning activities, walk down and redline “as-built”

Required;
*8 years’ experience in Process Chemical Design
*4+ years in 2 or more of the following, engineering design Process Flow Diagraming, development Heat and Material Balance development, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram development (P&ID), Pressure Relief Calculations
*US Citizens only please
*Chemical Engineering degree

Pluses:
*TN PE Licensure
*Large chemical plant project experience using ChemCAD Process Simulation
*Modeling AFT Fathom & Arrow Flow Modeling or AutoCAD Plant3D P&ID
