Description:
The Consultant assists the client with understanding how their current wealth management, trust and investment products and services compare to competitors in their market, and presents detailed analysis to assist client in making strategic product and business decisions.
This Consultant performs in depth analysis of client’s current wealth management, trust and investment products and services as well those from chosen market competitors, ensuring apples to apples comparisons across institutions, calculating the market value rates for varying asset tiers, and presenting the information in both a detailed spreadsheet format as well as in an executive summary.
This Consultant captures industry trends and insights to be included as part of the results presentation to the client.
 
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Knowledge of wealth management, trust and investment products in terms of product characteristics, pricing, trends
Ability to identify product pricing and calculate market value rates and basis points, factoring in the product characteristics and included fees.
Validates the reported data and calculations for accuracy
Ability to multi-task and keep project milestones on track
Experience summarizing analysis in an executive summary format for presentation to Executives
Familiar with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to complete the analysis and presentation findings
Self-reliant to deliver project objectives at hand.
 
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance/Marketing or equivalent experience
Six (6) or more years in banking, consulting or financial services industry.
Three (3) or more years in wealth management or trust.
Self-reliant to deliver project objectives at hand.
Experience analyzing and calculating wealth management and trust product fees.

Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Consulting a plus
Solves diverse problems and makes decisions using solid analytical skills where limited precedents or guidelines exist
Decision making and problem solving that may affect multiple departments or functional areas
Uses independent judgment to identify problems and solutions
Good skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
Aware of business issues as they may impact overall project plans.
Strong communications and customer service skills.
Results oriented.
Familiarity with PCs and various software applications (Microsoft Exchange, Office, etc.)
