Manufacturing Automation Architect

Description:
Are you reacdy to make an impact within a global organization by setting up automation practices for a new facility in Milwaukee, WI?



- Integration of IOT system architecture (PLC,Client & IPC) to effectively tie in communication devices within manufacturing automated processes.

- Experience w/MES & Smart Factory, Industry 4.0 applications. -(.E. Networking, Mobile, Cloud, Big Data, Machine Learning, IOT)

- Foster an engaging environment that extends Agile methodologies and transforms teams into an effective and efficient DevOps model.

- Involved in mapping the business needs to system requirements and technical requirements.

- Provide guidance w/respect to technical specifications, integrating different technologies, platforms and people.

- Experience with end-to-end responsibility for applications such as remote operation centers, predictive maintenance, or assisted operations through augmented reality.

- Possess a broad range of skills, relating business know-how and IT, experience with Data Management, Big Data and Cloud beneficial.

- Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) designers (From intuitive manufacturing dashboards on tablets and mobile phones, to machine interfaces and robot interaction, augmented reality applications in operations and maintenance and finally the service and product design for the users of industrial equipment )





Basic Qualifications:

"Bachelor's degree (MS preferred) in Computer Science or related technical field

"7+ years of experience as a software developer

"3+ years of distributed systems experience

"3+ years of experience managing people

"Knowledge of object-oriented languages.

"Experience with OO design and common design patterns.

"Excellent analytics and problem solving skills



Preferred Qualifications:

"10+ years of relevant software development and engineering management experience

"Deep hands-on technical expertise

"Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

"Strong business and technical vision

"Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

"A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time

"Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to Client the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solution
