Contract Administrative / Coordinator

Notes from Hiring Manager:

* This position will be supporting one of our client’s Security Solutions contracts
* Should have an administrative logistics background, preferably with defense / government / military contracts.
* Must be detail oriented with strong MS office skills, particularly Office and Excel (client currently has 2016 Excel software so must have experience with at least 2013; 2016 preferred)
* Need to have great communication skills as they will be dealing with both internal and external persons
* Strong organization skills as they’ll also be assisting with the Supply Chain Group
* Looking for the right personality fit; someone who can think / act on-the-fly & who’s not easily frustrated

Responsibilities:

> Organize and properly record archived files
> Filing/scanning hard copy files, data entry
> Research data / old files and properly organize / match
> Work closely with Supply Chain Group for deliveries, scheduling/planning of materials and other shipments as needed
> Assist with clerical tasks, i.e. shipping documents, completion sheets, etc….
> Provide additional admin support as needed

Experience:

> 5+ years of related work experience preferably with defense / government / military contracts
> Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize
> Must be US Citizen w/ HS Diploma or equivalent; Associate / Bachelor degree in a related field is a plus
> Experience and familiarity with ITAR compliance is preferred
> Demonstrate reliability and strict confidentiality
> Excellent customer service demeanor to interact effectively with customers/vendors
> Work independently with limited supervision/consultation from superiors
> Demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word & Excel (2013 or 2016)
> Understand and follow oral and written directions
> Plan and organize work to complete promptly, paying close attention to detail
> Strong attention to detail; excellent data entry and organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
