Manufacturing Engineer III

Location: Canoga Park, CA
Rate: $50.00/HR
Duration: 6 month contract

** Candidates must be U.S. Citizens **
** Permanent residents are NOT eligible for this role **
** Dual citizens are NOT eligible for this role. Also, candidates with a current non-U.S. passport in addition to a U.S. passport are NOT acceptable **
** Both a phone interview and in-person interview will be required for the selected candidate. Candidates must be able to attend an in-person interview at their own expense **

Duties:
The Manufacturing Engineer classifications are responsible for design, fabrication, modification, analysis and evaluation of manufacturing operations, processes, procedures and production layouts for the support of manufacturing/assembly operations such as rocket motor propellant and/or insulation manufacture, equipment installation, machining, metal forming, welding and brazing, and material handling.

Skills:
Required:
-Designing and planning of layout component fabrication, assembly and material handling, planning of sequence of operations, and specification procedures.
-The scope of responsibility will be for several mechanical components or as a process engineer supporting new and developing process.
-5 years of experience required.

Desired:
-Tight tolerance machining, Welding, Design systems (ProE, CATIA, VisMockup, CAD/virtual manufacturing).
-Manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes and systems. Verbal and written communication.
-Project management skills and MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
-Experience with Maestro; Delmia and Windchill.
