Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Develops and maintains productive business relationships with current and potential customers, organizations, and partner companies.
Creates technical presentations for customer presentations.
Responsible for developing/continuing a relationship with customers of our current products/technologies.
Serves as the primary contact for customer inquiries, general correspondence, requesting technical and pricing data, and other business transactions.
Works closely with the Leadership Team in developing and implementing a strategic Business Development plan that correlates to the divisions market.
Works closely with internal engineering and program managers to ensure a solid win approach.
Analyzes market data, funding profiles, and technical expectations for new business opportunities.
Responsible for sales efforts in the field to maximize market penetration to increase sales and profits for the Aftermarket business.
Identifies product needs through customer knowledge and works with Product Line Management and Engineering to develop business case evaluations for the justification and launch of new products.
Provides market analysis to executive level management regarding opportunities and strategies.
Identifies new and adjacent markets into which to expand our business.
Performs other related duties as required.
Job Requirements

Business experience with airlines, MRO and parts brokerage companies.
Must have experience developing new business domestically (International a plus)
Solid relationships, business development management experience, excellent research and report writing skills, dynamic and creative problem solving, as well as professional and positive interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to anticipate areas of growth on specific platforms and programs which compliment Company’s capabilities and follow through with forecasted business through put and profitability.
Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
Direct experience capturing new business in the market and knowledge of customers’ acquisition processes/practices.
A strong ability to assess and understand customer technical requirements, as well as understanding and providing value added alternatives to customer solution.
Heavy Engine Shop MRO experience. Specifically looking for some knowledge with Tubes, ducts manifolds, hot section parts and engine mounted accessories…

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical and Program Management background
A European second language (for the East Coast sales rep)/ Asian second language (for West Coast sales rep)
Preferred to have experience with aircraft engine overhauls.
Proven record of developing new business with aftermarket, military, government agencies, and prime contractors
Established relationships in the MRO and OEM sectors with a proven track record of winning new business including research and development projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the components and systems market with a technical knowledge of systems inclusive of rigid tube components and the systems they normally operate in.
Ten or more years aerospace MRO/OEM experience.
Travel required - 65%
