Chemical Processing Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform process line start-up and shut-down.
Verifies tank tests/analysis logs (when required) have been completed and documented.
Verifies that the tanks specified on the work orders contain the solutions/chemicals required, and are in operational condition.
Review the shop order and blueprint to ensure a clear understanding of the work to be performed.
Manually processing parts through the chemical solutions.
Inspect and/or test parts for process conformance.
Operate an overhead crane system to lift parts into chemical tanks.
Utilize shop orders, documents, drawings and specifications to perform tasks necessary to meet production and industry requirements, including NADCAP.
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Knowledge of chemicals and chemical processing of aircraft parts and components preferred.
Ability to work independently with good decision making skills
Excellent communication and people skills.
Able to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions and aerospace specifications.
Two (2) or more years of recent experience in a chemical environment or processing role.
Two (2) or more years of experience with aircraft/aerospace component surfaces preferred.
