Mechanical Design Engineer

Description:
2+ years of packaging components into a defined space claim and within weight allocation -PTC Creo (Pro-E) or similar CAD software experience -Clear communication, written and verbal -Understanding of and ability to apply GD&T to drawings -Experience performing tolerance analyses -Microsoft office, -2 years minimum experience in related engineering field -Basic knowledge of diesel engines and engine accessories (cooling systems, exhaust, PTO, etc), B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Aerospace Engineering, or related degree
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with PTC Creo (>2 yrs) creating models and drawings -Experience with testing and root cause analysis -Familiarity with military vehicles -Hands-on experience designing/repairing/maintaining/building mechanical systems -Basic knowledge of powertrain, drivetrain, and suspension systems
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-2 years minimum experience in related engineering field -Basic knowledge of diesel engines and engine accessories (cooling systems, exhaust, PTO, etc)
EDUCATION:
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Aerospace Engineering, or related degree
