Senior Manufacturing Operations Technician

Senior Manufacturing Operations Technician
(US Citizenship Required*)
Scottsdale, AZ

• Maintain and create work instructions using a variety of software tools.
• Maintain and trouble shoot the shop floor system (Solumina and Eclipse).
• Perform a variety of systems integration equipment and/or process operations involving an application of technical skills
• Interpret engineering drawings and diagrams
• Notify appropriate personnel for changes needed to the engineering configuration data base
• Maintain/revise manufacturing work instructions in electronic instruction and reporting systems
• Assist engineering in the set-up manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot manufacturing system and processes issues to root cause
• Repair and/or modify manufacturing systems under direction of senior specialists or engineers
• Implement and document basic practical solutions for process improvement
• Execute experiments under the direction of an engineer or senior specialist
• Communicate with internal customers including manufacturing support manager, production personnel, coach, operations manager, engineering
• Normally works under the guidance of a more senior individual
• May perform preventive maintenance functions on manufacturing equipment

• Required – able to obtain Secret clearance
• Works well in a Space traceability Environment
• Familiar with statistical process controls
• Seeks out opportunities for process improvements and continuous improvement
• Clear understanding of computer software applications used in a manufacturing environment
• General problem-solving skills and subject matter expertise in assigned area
• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• General computer skills
*US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
