Job Title:                         Design Engineer 3 (Individual Contributor 3)
Duration:                          9 Months (With possible extension)
Location:                          Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite)
Shift:                                        6:30 AM to 3:30 PM (1st shift, 5x8s)

Position comments
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training
Must be computer literate and able to navigate computer

Job Description:
Evaluates program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates, identifies robotics, automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling.
Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares. Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.
Develops and implements work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation.
Performs studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets.

•             Huge advantage with anyone with prior experience with client
•             Experience with composite manufacturing
•             Equipment that supports composite manufacturing experience
•             Experience with reliability engineering
•             Really need help is on equipment engineering experience

Working will be on:
•             Project will support 787 Dreamliner for commercial airplanes
•             First all composite commercial aircraft that is in operation today
•             New work

Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
