Contract 12 mos. - potential for extended term

Summary:
Ensure efficient, high-quality aircraft production by focusing on configuration control, planning, tooling, sequencing, and build methods.
Support manufacturing and assembly operations, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Resolve production issues related to materials, processes, and tooling.
Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with Design Engineering, Tooling, Quality, and Production teams.
Optimize manufacturing processes through detailed planning and documentation.
Identify and resolve production challenges to improve quality and efficiency.
Maintain compliance with HACI standards and update planning documents, BOMs, and tool orders.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 2+ years of aviation experience.
Knowledge of aircraft assembly, sequencing, and manufacturing flow.
Strong mechanical background in sheet metal (structures) and production processes.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5S methodologies, and process improvement.
Proficient in SAP, CAD CAM, CATIA, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/specifications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Desired Skills:
Six Sigma certification.
GD&T training.
Airframe & Powerplant license.
Experience with aircraft interiors.
