Position Summary / Responsibilities

Develops, maintains and ensures compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and that the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines.

Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance.

Works directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications.
Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly.

Establishes and ensures that inspections are conducted prior to the processing of raw materials, ingredients, product and package specifications, frequently at vendor/supplier locations.

May serve as liaison between the company and the various governmental agencies .

Basic Qualifications:

9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters;

4 Years with PhD; or Equivalent Years of Work Experience.

Must be open to work any shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred to have aircraft PDM knowledge, would prefer JSTARS experience

Quality auditing capabilities or be trainable in a short time

o TCTO knowledge

o JIMIS or drawing knowledge

o Ability to research requirements to get to the answer (doesnâ€™t require a lot of hand holding) o Safety auditing

o Factory compliance auditing

o Understanding of Lean and affordability opportunities

o Quality auditing

Ability to review daily work plans and understand the requirements as it relates to
schedule

Ability to work with others through difficult situations

Manufacturing engineering or quality engineering background would be a plus
