Process Engineer

Description:
One of the world's leading heavy truck manufacturers is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team!



Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development of new workstations, productions lines and processes with the continuous improvement of the existing processes. Sound engineering and ergonomic principals that focus on recognizing when there is a problem and the ability to solve the problem required to produce top quality finished products.
Ability to read and create electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability of the finished product.
High level of competence in the use of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, AutoCad and Solid Edge.
Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer.
Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
Confer with vendors, staff and management regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities and project status along with new product introduction.
Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability and minimize cost.
Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and plant layout.
Precision machining and gage requirements (Micron tolerances)
CNC machining.
Manufacturing process development (routing, BOM, Work instructions)
Gage R & R and machine Qualification.
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures and activities.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors in Engineering with 1 year of experience OR an Associates degree with 2 years' experience OR 6 years of client experience is required.
3-5 years' experience in an automotive manufacturing environment required.
Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment or in a manufacturing facility with industrial engineering duties preferred.
