2207 - SYSTEM TEST ENGINEER - resume word doc only

Description:
Advanced planning and testing of various aircraft systems for the new Client Aircraft on the Integrated Systems Test & Certification Rig (ISTCR). Systems include flight controls, fly-by-wire, high-lift, hydraulics, avionics, electrical, propulsion & environmental control.

You will review and comment on test requirements, schedules, and systems installation and commissioning procedures with the various system Workpackages.

You will review functional test procedures and functional test engineering requirements issued by the Workpackages and translate these into experimental instructions. With these, you will commission the rig & aircraft systems to ensure test readiness.

You will execute the Development, Safety of Flight, and Certification phases of testing on the aircraft ground test program, reporting the results to Client internal customers.

During the commissioning & test execution phase, the rig will operate 40 hours per week. If required, rig operations could reach 20 hours per day and up to 7 days per week. You will be required to work 40 hours per week and you could be on a rotational shift if required.

As a Systems Test Preparation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Supporting test & integration activities on the aircraft development program on the Integrated Systems Test & Certification Rig (ISTCR).


Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.

Have experience in an aerospace manufacturing company.

Have excellent knowledge of aircraft systems, communication busses and the means to test them.

Have excellent knowledge of instrumentation, data acquisition, and load control systems (MTS, FCS or alike).

Have extensive experience in a test environment.

Have excellent troubleshooting skills.

Have the ability to work without supervision,

Are available to work in shifts.

Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Have strong communication skills (oral and written).

As our ideal candidate for a Systems Test Preparation Engineer,

Have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.

Have experience in an aerospace manufacturing company.

Are familiar with ground test environments.

Knowledge of certification requirements is an asset.

Have good knowledge of aircraft systems.

Knowledge of instrumentation, data acquisition, and load control systems is an asset.

Knowledge of aircraft systems, communication busses and the means to test them is an asset.

Are a strong team player and demonstrate superior organizational and leadership skills.

Are driven by results and autonomous.

Possess good project management skills.

Are available to work in shifts.

Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Have strong communication skills (oral and written).
