Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Quality Aircraft Inspectors for open positions in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.

Job Duties:

• Perform inspection of aircraft components during their assembly, installation, and adjustment on an aircraft to insure that the workmanship and materials conform to the aircraft manufacturers’ specifications and maintenance manual procedures, and blueprint requirements
• Monitor systems testing and Avionics/Electrical installations and checkouts
• Determine accuracy of installation of components in power plant and hydraulic system to ensure that specified tolerances are met
• Document inspections performed on the aircraft and create discrepancy reports for nonconforming conditions
• Performs Assembly/Modification inspections and Final, In Process, Preliminary, OK to Install/OK to Close, and Preflight Inspections
• Manages logbooks and updates/maintains Aircraft Records (paper and computerized)
• Ensures that all work performed complies with company, customer, and FAR requirements
• Inspects aircraft parts/components fabrication and installations in accordance with standard procedures, methods, techniques, and practices
• Reviews and audits technical records that support airworthiness of all aircraft, aircraft parts/components and in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARS)
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have 5 years’ minimum production line/repair station inspection experience, with fabrication, electrical, and/or mechanical assemblies
• Flight Operations experience highly desirable
• Must be comfortable working with little to no direct supervision
• Must be well versed in working to complex Engineering Drawings, Maintenance/Repair Manuals, and FAR Guidelines
• High School/Trade School Graduate
• A&P License Required
• IA Certification Preferred
