SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION:

- The primary work location will be in Nagoya, Japan. However, engineers may be required to travel to system supplier sites in USA in order to liaise with them to demonstrate compliance with the requirements and regulations in relation to Fire Protection including minimization of Ignition Source (Equipment).

- Basic work scope is to help the team to demonstrate compliance with all applicable requirements and to generate the related documents required in the Type Certification Application and Approval processes.

- The main duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate will be related to Ignition Source Minimization of equipment for fire prevention. This will include interfacing with all other aircraft function and engineering teams to coordinate and obtain the approval of any task assigned contributing to the aircraft Ignition Source Minimization and Certification.

- Manage the technical contract requirements with applicable equipment suppliers and other interfacing suppliers as appropriate.

- Work flexibly and effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-linguistic environment in Nagoya, Headquarter of our company in Japan. Basic Japanese Language skill is preferable but not required.





COMMON QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor%u2019s Degree in Engineering with 10 years of aviation related industry experience, or

- 10-15 years in an aviation engineering organization; Aerospace or Aircraft Systems Engineering.

- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and communication techniques

- A good team player who can work in a team environment and coordinate with other engineers from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

- Ability to identify potential issues and find solutions in the course of Type Certification application and approval processes.

- Must possess ability to develop, plan and implement short and long term goals.

- Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments

- Ability to dealing with changing priorities and workloads
