SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION

-The primary work location will be in Nagoya, Japan. However, depending on the positions applying for, a successful candidate may be required to travel to Moses Lake (WA, USA) and other test sites and stay there where aircraft flight tests are performed on a long term basis.

-Basic scope of work is to provide assurance of successful showing of compliance with relevant regulatory requirements in the Type Certification Application and Approval processes with regard to fire extinguishing and smoke detection.

-The main duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate will include having overall responsibility for the planning of the required flight/ground test phases, working with the flight/ground test instrumentation engineers, preparing the maneuver-by-maneuver plan for each test flight or test on ground and develop/review test plans, test specifications and test reports

-A successful candidate is expected to work flexibly and effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-linguistic environment in Nagoya, Headquarter of our company in Japan. Basic Japanese Language skill is preferable but not required.




COMMON QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor%u2019s Degree in Engineering with 15 years of aviation related industry experience, or

-15-20 years in an aviation engineering organization; Aerospace or Aircraft Systems Engineering.

-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

-Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and communication techniques

-A good team player who can work in a team environment and coordinate with other engineers from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

-Ability to identify potential issues in the course of Type Certification approval process.

-Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments

-Ability to dealing with changing priorities and workloads

-Thermal analysis
-Good thermal dynamic background
-Modeling thermal dynamic, making specification/documentation, request document, required definition report good solution for over heat and under cooling issues, ground/flight test for environment temperature of all aircraft zone such as unpressured area, pressure area, and propulsion area
-CFD
-Good communication in structure engineering
