Cybersecurity Architect - RM

Description:
The Cybersecurity Architect performs cybersecurity engineering and certification & accreditation support activities for our DoD customers. The contractor will be located in Stratford, CT. This is a 2 year contract.

Major responsibilities include
1. Application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for aircraft training systems such as motion-based flight trainers, and aircraft maintenance trainers.
2. Providing cybersecurity engineering expertise in support of UCDSMO accreditation for cross domain solutions.

Major tasks include:

Providing technical support to the design teams to ensure the security controls are implemented properly and will meet the requirements of the security controls baseline;

Developing security assessment plans;

Conducting security controls assessments;

Developing and maintaining the artifacts required to support certification and accreditation;

Leading the ST&E effort for the cross domain solution;

Reviewing and providing comments on design specifications and RMF deliverables; and

Resolving security controls implementation issues with customers and/or vendors

Certification

Contractor must have a DoD IA 8570 Level II certification, at a minimum.

Experience

Ideal candidate will have previous experience with UCDSMO certification and accreditation.

Experience implementing DISA STIGS is preferred.

Must be an organized self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with little direct supervision.
