Quality Assurance Inspector

Description:
A Quality Assurance Inspector job in Colorado Springs, CO is currently available through Belcan with one of our Aerospace clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that our incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped product fulfill all quality requirements. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience. This is a great contract opportunity with a growing company. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Quality Assurance Inspector Job duties:

* Ensuring that our incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped product fulfill all quality requirements.
* Visually inspect our materials, parts, and products at different stages of production for structural flaws, internal defects, or missing welds and accept, reject, or request rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
* Develop, apply, revise and maintain our quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection.
* Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
* Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience
* Experience with finished goods inspection
* Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES
* Basic understanding of material flow in operations
* Experience drafting work instructions and SOP's
* Experience with Network+, Security+, CCNA and/or A+
* Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards
* Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or other measuring equipment
