Secret Clearance Required - Material Planner - Scheduler - Supply Chain

Description:
Company is seeking a Master Scheduler/Planner for a position in St. Louis, MO
Military/Defense Program experience is desired.
Must have an active Secret Clearance to be considered
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience is highly desired
Job Purpose
Maintain synchronization of the supply chain between various organizations, customers, and suppliers by managing product requirements, inventory systems, and production flow of work in process. Coordinate with management, internal support and shop floor personnel regarding all issues impacting the supply chain and schedule adherence

Principal Accountabilities
Develop and implement strategy to leverage master production schedule to meet deliveries by using Microsoft Project to develop and maintain a fluid IMS schedule. Ensure the appropriate lead times and requirements in keeping with these strategies.
Develop work schedules for the assigned value streams and Operational Work Cells for to the ERP Analyst. The schedules are to be driven by the Master Production Schedule and coordinated with all functions.
Work with complex processes and organizational relationships that improve the capabilities of SCM and contribute to the improvement of the business enterprise.
Interface with program management to ensure alignment between schedule and customer requirements. Work closely with program supply chain support and customer demand to ensure the system demand is aligned to customer requirements.
Responsible to manage and maintain visibility of capacity by working with operations to ensure the schedule derived from the MPS is achievable.
Responsible for updating and maintained the build plans (Auto Planner) for all areas to ensure the right requirements are flowed through MRP for detail parts and raw materials.
Define problem resolutions and process improvements.
Incorporate planning decisions to reduce material and product variability.
Serve on multifunctional teams to define quality, delivery and performance standards.
Perform all duties in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Education
B.S. degree in engineering or related discipline preferred and/or a combination of eleven to fourteen years of education and relevant experience in lieu of degree. Masters degree in engineering, engineering management, industrial management or business preferred.
Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of eight years of engineering experience with a minimum of four years of manufacturing support experience.
Composite fabrication and assembly experience preferred.
Requires a thorough knowledge of multiple engineering applications and manufacturing procedures.
Possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Has expertise in relevant technology and independently applies known principles and practices.
Physical Demands
Frequently required to spend long hours sitting at a work stations and using office equipment.
Frequently required to spend long hours walking and standing on the production floor
May be required to walk or stand for brief periods
May be required to use stairs when elevator is not available
Must occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move up to 25 pounds of office supplies and materials
May be required to reach with arms and hands and to stoop, kneel or crouch
