Mechanical Assembly Technician

Description:
TriMech Services is an engineering resource provider specializing in the placement of qualified technical candidates for both temporary and direct hire opportunities. TriMech is seeking Mechanical Assembly Technicians for one of our GA Offices.

*** multiple openings

*** This is a 6+ month contract position. There is a possibility this position will become permanent.

1-3 years’ experience in basic mechanical assembly (mechanical tools, drills and impact tools, professional or personal)
Prior experience as a Mechanical Technician, Automotive Technician, or Aircraft Mechanic is helpful
Ability to follow instructions and read fabrication drawings
Ability to drive and operate a forklift, given proper training and instruction
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights up to 100 feet
Mechanical related degree, High School Diploma or GED
US government position. US Citizenship required.
Preferences

Ability to withstand outdoor work and be physically able to lift and move heavy objects
Operate light machinery
Operate forklifts and aerial lift
Ability to use mechanical tools, drills, & impact tools
Ability to work to documentation and procedures
