Industrial Engineer

Our client, a global security and aerospace company, is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. Solving complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions to help customers keep people safe and provide them essential services, our client is hiring for the following critical need:

Industrial Engineer
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Greenville, SC

• Analyze sequence of operations, work flow, and manpower loading to improve efficiencies in both F-16 aircraft production and sustainment environments, as well as Warehouse Operations for Greenville Site Operations.
• Study and complete data analysis pertaining to production and sustainment performance, cost control, cost reduction, and other related production systems using tools like Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project, or data analysis tools.
• On the basis of these studies, monitor the development and implementation changes to production workflow, manpower changes, or changes to the schedule.
• Develop detailed work plans in collaboration with Operations Leadership team.
• Establish methods for maximum utilization of production personnel.
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities as required.
• Complete other projects as assigned.
• This position supports a 9/80A-1st work schedule.

• Greenbelt Certified
• Earned Value Management (EVM), an understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)
• Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and/or Overhaul Experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience, specifically in creating, monitoring and reporting metrics related to cost and schedule.
• Experience developing resource loading plans and/or manpower plans
• Experience in scheduling, with an understanding of critical path methodology
• Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)
• Experience in applications of learning curves
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
• Able to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
• Areas of Expertise: Industrial Engineering, Project Scheduling, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Metrics, Earned Value Analysis
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college combined with a minimum 3+ years of Industrial Engineering-related experience
