SIGINT Network Analyst
(US Citizenship Required*)
Hanover, MD

• Analyze a variety of information and intelligence relevant to the threats facing the systems, infrastructure, and resources critical to the nation, and develops relevant research studies and recommendations
• Provide intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI)
• Perform requirements management and/or collection management
• Analyze/evaluate methods for performing continuous appraisal of data from sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing, and management assessment
• Research, develop/prepare briefings and analyses which include narrative, tabular and/or graphic materials
• Develop/disseminate standard operating procedures (SOPs), and validation criteria for personnel, entities, components, and Communities of Interest (COIs)
• Conduct data mining for unknown linkages in existing information and maintains integrated database tracking system for controlled correspondence
• Conduct analytical studies of domestic and/or allied military, commercial or civil operations, which may lead to recommendations to improve operational effectiveness in the client organization
• Exercise judgment in determining methods of attack and defense, techniques to be used, and manner of presentation of results in all phases of analysis
• Develop/prepare briefings, analyses, summaries or after-action reports which may include narrative, tabular or graphic material

• Department of Defense TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph is required at time of hire.
• Basic data processing skills (scripting in PERL, PYTHON, etc. or equivalent capability)
• Strong technical writing skills to articulate requirements to ANR developers as well as developers in other organizations including vendors
• Able to diagnose a network protocol using the outputs of standard signals and protocol analysis tools (WIRESHARK, DVT, TAROTCARD, etc.)
• Strong teaming skills to work with other technical disciplines to include signals analysts, protocol analysts, hardware developers, and intelligence analysts
• Experience using Wireshark and/or Renoir or similar protocol analysis product
• Experience in researching and using telecommunications standards (ITU-T Recommendations and IETF RFCs)
• Experience with data repositories BLACKPEARL, xKEYSCORE, NKB, etc.
• Experience in operating collection front-end systems such as the AST-557, Packet Raptor, AST-128, etc.
*US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related specialized area or field or the equivalent is required combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of network analysis experience to include non-IP networks
• 5 years of experience with telecommunications, network management systems & network management protocols
