ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides technical support to customers, wireless carrier orders for end users, including activations/plan changes/troubleshooting, order management during and after deployment in the plant. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians and product support who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, and/or complex software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
