Assembler 1 (Power) - CA

We are looking for temporary assistance of entry level Assemblers for our Solid State Power department.

" Will need to determine the method and sequence of assembly to follow the process/procedures/layouts provided on Power devices and substrates.
" Will need to apply acquired job skills, along with company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks while working according to safety protocols. And strive to continuously build knowledge and skills, share expertise with others, and listen or request clarifications as needed
" Will work on assignments routine in nature, and will be given instructions on new assignments only
" Show respect to others, keep emotions in control, work ethically, demonstrate persistence to overcome obstacles while monitoring work for accuracy and quality to meet productivity standards

" High School diploma or equivalent GED
" Minimum 6 months to 1 year of previous related experience and/or training.
" Should be able to read instructions/drawings, and write short correspondence or complete short forms/documents
" basic math and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks
" Will perform a variety of assembly operations such as die attach epoxy, epoxy substrate, solder die attach and clip attach
" Will need to identify and select components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units
" Will require to have good hand-eye coordination, be responsible for product identification, tack weld, vacuum bake, cover seal, screens, fine and gross leak and will be required to work using a microscope and computers
" Will need to occasionally stand, walk, climb/balance, stoop/kneel/crouch, and lift up to 10 lbs
" Will frequently sit, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, but will be required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
" Must meet the following vision requirements for close vision (clear vision up to 20 inches), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) and depth perception (3D vision with the ability to judge distances and spatial relationships) because will be working near moving mechanical parts
" Work environment is quiet (library setting) to moderate (business machines, light traffic)

Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift, 5/40 Schedule
