Mechanical Engineer

Description:
Mechanical Engineer with Aerospace/Aircraft background

Required:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience Significant practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools

Small team leadership experience

Familiarity working in multi‐disciplinary design and development teams

Experience in a tight, schedule driven environment

The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances
Preferred:

Solidworks CAD experience (2D and 3D)

Experience applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5

Understanding of Engineering Simulation such as Finite Element structural Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Thermal Analysis

Background in the Aviation and Defense Industry

Knowledge of industry‐standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model‐based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing, and production processes

Enovia/PLM experience a plus
