Job Summary:

Responsible for the overall review of work packages to ensure all inspection requirements are completed in accordance with approved data, regulatory requirements and the Repair/Station Manual (RSM).

Job Responsibilities:

• Proactively establish and maintain professional internal and external relationships
• Review all work order documentation
• Ensure all tags, stamps, discrepancy forms, sign offs, and other required paperwork is included in the work order binder
• Scan all work order documentation
• Create log book entries and follows up to ensure QC checks and signs
• Match forms with discrepancies on Master Item Log (MIL)
• Arrange and process any discrepancies as they come in from QC
• Keep the Chief Inspector informed at all times of any issues or discrepancies that need attention
• Assist Chief Inspector as required in final review
• Exhibit positive, courteous behavior to employees, customers, other departments

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• 2 years’ experience in an administrative work
• Proficient Computer keyboarding skills and proficiency in database management and word processing
• Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
• Ability to multi -task
• Ability to obtain an airport gate card
• A&P License or equivalent
• Previous experience in the aviation industry
• General knowledge of 14 CFR FAA AMT regulations and requirements
• Working knowledge of computers to input and retrieve data
• Basic knowledge of FAA regulations concerning 8130 tags and traceability
• Basic knowledge of aircraft parts and terminology
• Skill to gather, interpret, and record data to assure accuracy
• Skill in communicating effectively to convey information
• Skill in listening to internal and external customers and asking appropriate questions
