Job Summary:

The Material Specialist Receiving for Heavy Mx Mod Support is responsible for Receiving aircraft parts into M&E system (TRAX) as per client GMM requirements for use on client aircraft. The Material Specialist Receiving must ensure all required information is correctly entered into TRAX and correctly entered on the parts tag and label.

Job Duties:

• Material Specialist Receiving must be trained in the receiving process to perform receiving procedures
• All parts must be checked for documentation and damage
• Any Suspected Unapproved aircraft part must be reported to the Director of Quality
• Part numbers must be entered into the M&E System to determine if the part is eligible for use on client aircraft and if there are any Airworthiness Directives or Limitations affecting the part
• Make entries in the M&E System as either Purchase Order or Repair Order as applicable from Approved Vendors as per the Approved Vendor List (AVL)
• Ensure Documentation Certificates are with the parts as per GMM (FAA Form 8130 as applicable, Burn certificates as applicable, Packing slips, etc)
• Ensure Part number and Serial Number on the Data plate matches the PN on the documentation
• Initiate and complete a bar code label and client Maintenance Parts Tag (MX-41) for repairables and rotables as per the GMM
• Ensure the Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) and Serial Number (SN) on the bar code label is correct for the part and supporting documentation
• Notify Configuration Control/Inventory Control to update the M&E system to reflect correct information if Part number does not match in TRAX label before part goes to Receiving Inspection
• Scan of the 8130/EASA1 and all corresponding documentation into M&E System
• Build sub-assemblies (VDU’s for Seat assembly must be entered in proper position of the assembly)
• SB Kits must be programmed/built properly in TRAX with appropriate sub-assemblies and sub-kits
• Verify kit NLK list and ensure kit is built correctly. Verify serialized sub-components of NHA are received correctly
• Coordinate with EOCOOR for PO discrepancies, etc.
• Ensure all parts for kit shortages, FOC PO’s etc. are receiving to complete kits
• Receive Inbound Transfer Orders for client provided material into TRAX to ensure Material is available at location
• Notify appropriate parties of discrepancies of inbound material
• Quarantine Inbound items missing or incorrect paperwork and other issues
• The communication chain starts with the receiving Material CM
• Match MX-41 tags/labels to parts to proceed with MRO receiving process
• Must print MX-41 Tag after QC Inspection (R/I) is completed for MRO to start their Receiving process
