Aircraft Test Spec/Report Manager

Propulsion Group Aircraft Test Spec/Report Manager, Mechanical Systems, Aircraft Integration Department and Engineering Division. 
As propulsion integrator, Test Spec/Report Manager will work and manage the activities of the Propulsion Group Aircraft. He will support Test/Rig testing including troubleshooting  manage test specs and test reports. This will include interfacing with all other aircraft functions and engineering teams to coordinate and obtain the approval of any task assigned contributing to the aircraft.
in addition, Test Spec/Report Manager will work on design integration and/or certification document creation/ review including internal/external coordination depending on the work force of project.

Reports to: Propulsion Group Lead and to Team Manager

Scope of Work:

  1. Employee will work as sub-team manager in Aircraft Test Spec Release Team and/or Powerplant design integration Team in the Propulsion Group
  2. Basic work scope is to create/review aircraft and rig test specifications  to develop its products and to obtain data to show compliance to all applicable requirements. In addition, he will be responsible to integrate the propulsion systems, coordinating with partners, creating/reviewing certification report in order to meet the program milestones.
  3. This activity includes;
    1. Evaluating the current propulsion system design, with respect to test objectives and ground/flight test development and certification requirements of JCAB, FAA and EASA,
    2. Drive the Propulsion system suppliers and leverage resource and expertise
    3. Presenting and discussing the Safety of Flight and design evaluation and maturity with the Flight Operations Group and Transport Authorities.
    4. Supporting verification and showing-compliance activities, such as SNAG (trouble shooting), Design Reviews, Inspections, Analysis, etc.
    5. Executing and reviewing deign integration and/or certification document creation/review and any other appropriate tasks requested by a group leader or IPT leader or its delegate.

  4. All tasks required to perform above activities are considered within work scope; initiating/ reviewing related documents, technical calculation, interface discussion with the team members and all the other stakeholders including systems, structures, manufacturing, customer support, and partners.
  5. Education of  the Client's members about professional knowledge in the engine control system development, certification and analysis.
  6. Provide expertize and systematic management to resolve the propulsion system challenges raised

Work Location:
The primary work location will be in Nagoya, Japan. Business trips to required sites all over the world (mainly the US and Europe) may be requested, including Seattle, Moses Lake where part of engineering tasks (Seattle) and flight tests (Moses Lake) are carried out.
