CNC Machinist Technician

CNC Machinist Technician
(US Citizenship Required*)
Scottsdale, AZ

• Machine, Form and shape basic material, Aluminum, Steel and plastics
• Will operate CNC Vertical Mills, lathes, drill presses, mills, grinding machines, brakes and shears
• Will operate light-duty bench or floor machine tools and equipment such as hand grinder, Hand sander, small lathes, power mills, drills or punch presses, power brakes, shears or saws
• Work from basic drawings, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions
• Set up machines and makes adjustments, and performs maintenance on machines
• Check work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
• Interface with employees and managers within the department
• Work under general supervision and instructions given for routine work, and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments

• Able to read and follow instructions including Engineering and CAD drawings
• General interpersonal skills to cooperate and work effectively with others
• General communication skills, both verbal and written
• General computer skills
• General organizational skills
• Able to use mechanical hand and simple power tools
*US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent is required combined with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
