Technical Service Specialist

Technical Service Specialist
(US Citizenship Required*)

Responsibilities:
• Provide second and/or third level technical support on: Rescue 21 program, other programs the CSO supports.
• Perform customer service, IT technical support, Network Operation Center support, service request documentation, system monitoring, service delivery, fault detection/isolation, and execution of restoration activities for Rescue 21, and other programs.
• Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, engineering, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems
• Respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software
• Report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering
• May be involved in customer installation and training
• Provide support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
• Interact directly with the customer/user where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature, such as with systems level software where the user has a technical background
• Provide technical service management and technical support for customer programs
• Assure all repairs are in accordance with company policy and procedure and customer quality requirements

Qualifications:
• Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance is required at time of hire
• Skills:
o Network/ IT systems management
o SQL server
o Software administration
o Troubleshooting in a windows environment.
o Experience with failure and root cause analysis reporting.
o Direct customer service and/or direct customer interaction experience is a plus
o Knowledge of CA Spectrum One Click software suite.
o Experience with Oracle CRM
o Microsoft Terminal Server
o HBSS
o Anti-Virus
o network monitoring tools
o Asset management software
o Microsoft Windows Active Directory tools a big plus.
o Support of DoD or DHS systems is desired
• Areas of Experience:
o Remote administration of servers, switches, and workstations are required
o Knowledge of CA Spectrum One Click software suite preferred
o Experience with Oracle CRM preferred
o Hardware/Software Trouble shooting
o Logistics support including Sparing, Scheduling, and Project Lead
• Knowledge:

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology preferred; or a related specialized area is required; or equivalent experience.
