Our client in Orangeburg, SC is seeking an NDT Tech III 

In this role your Responsibilities and Job Duties will include
•    Interface regarding technical and production issues with all site integrated product teams that utilize NDT.
•    Assists and occasionally leads manufacturing MRB activity.
•    Interface with customer representatives for relevant quality/technical issues.
•    Technical responsibility for Level II & III NDT Technicians.
•    Interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the methods to meet industry and customer requirements.
•    Acts as point of contact for customers’ NDT assessments and Nadcap audits. Site lead for NDT internal audits.
•    Prepare and implement NDT techniques.
•    Prepare and approve NDT procedures and other related NDT work instructions.
•    Conduct training and examination of NDT personnel.
•    Perform documented over inspection of Level II & III NDT personnel as needed or required.
•    Assures that material and parts are properly processed to the applicable NDT Method Specification.
•    Performs or verifies the performance of systems capability checks specified in the applicable NDT Method Specification.
•    Supports management of inspection and testing programs.
•    Capable of providing advice in the field of failure analysis
•    Develops NDT Techniques. May provide approved NDT technique sheets.
•    Organizes, reports, and maintains records of NDT inspection results. Shall assure that all records for systems controls are properly maintained.
•    Performs NDT Level II and III responsibilities, as needed. 
•    Shall perform adequate surveillance to assure compliance of NDT processes to all applicable customer quality documents and/or assure the facility properly performs the        NDT process for which customer certification or Nadcap accreditation has been issued.


Qualifications / Experience / Skills 
•    Required training and ability to obtain & maintain ASNT/ NAS410 certification as a Level III in one or more disciplines.  PT (FPI) and UT preferred. 
•    Must be able to pass required company NAS410 Level III examinations for FPI & UT and maintain customer approvals as Responsible Level III.
•    Minimum 7 years manufacturing experience required.  Defense and/or aerospace industry preferred; automotive, nuclear, or medical device industry experience in NDT/NDE          will be          considered.  
•    Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from ABET accredited school preferred.
•    Minimum 5 years in a Manufacturing QA/QC/QI supervisory or management role preferred.
•    Demonstrated knowledge of ASME Y14.5 or Y14.43 highly desired.
•    Hand’s-on, or management experience with computerized measurement systems (CMMs, laser scanners, etc) desired.
