Satellite Launch & Operations Engineer

Description:
Reporting directly ADSI Lead Engineer for the Satellite programs.

Duties will include, but not be restricted to:
•Conduct the technical analysis required to ensure the satellite can withstand launch loads.
•Interface with launch providers and government representatives on all launch subjects.
•Development of satellite ICD documentation for launch providers.
•Defining Launch Vehicle Requirements and support Launch Vehicle selection.
•Develop and execute procedures for the checkout and integration of launch flight hardware, spacecraft and ground support equipment.
•Manage future launch campaigns.

Skills and Qualifications:
•Experience working with US DoD and Intelligence Community space professionals.
•Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field from an accredited University a Master's Degree in a STEM field would be a plus.
•6 years of engineering experience focused on space vehicle or launch vehicle design, analysis, integration or operation.
•Experience in various software tools including MatLab, Doors, STK, etc., are highly desired.
•Proficiency with the latest programming tools including C+, C++, Perl, etc., are desired.
•Extensive knowledge of client/customer launch policy and procedures.
•Existing relationships with US satellite Program Offices.
•Thorough understanding of client/customer Satellite Vehicle launch interface requirements, launch transportation and processing requirements.
•Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners and customers.
•Program management experience and a working knowledge of client/customer budgeting and financial processes.
•Ability to work in a team and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
•US Citizenship
