Assembler Technician - Repair & Overhaul
|Performs various test operations on production or repair mechanical or hydraulic actuators using necessary hydraulic, mechanical and electronic test equipment, fixtures and tools. Diagnoses common test failures and recommends or performs rework to' correct discrepancies. Holds problem units for engineering disposition.|
Ensures that units are set up and tested in conformance with current revision letters and brings to the
supervisor's attention any condition that is abnormal.
Responsible for testing repair models for conformance to acceptance test procedures that are normally part of his/her expertise.
Utilizes mechanical or electronic measuring equipment and performs tests to validate the acceptance of the model to current test requirements.
Order parts as necessary utilizing the RUR and WDS systems. Responsible for proper documentation of parts replaced and work performed on data sheets. Disposition non-conforming parts in conformance with Moog and Government specifications. Assists in determining Repair Revisions.
This position could be required to do both assembly and test.
|1-2 years assembly experience. |
This an FAA safety sensitive position, FAA drug screen is required.
High School Diploma or GED. Preferred to have trade certificate from Aerospace Trade School
