Software Configuration Engineer

What does a great Software Configuration Engineer do? A Software Development Engineer develops or modifies software products by leading projects and owning software modules
Job Duties are as follows:
Leads and owns software modules and provide guidance to the team.
Provides secure solution to make the application not vulnerable to any leaks or threats.
Provides training of applications programming and user personnel in the use of software systems.
Leads database administrative tasks and manage coding standards
Designs, codes, installs, and maintains software programs.
Analyzes specifications for applications enhancements for compatibility with other systems and within operating guidelines.
Analyzes dumps, debugs problems and applies fix procedures.
Prepares documentation for use by computer operations, applications programming, and user personnel.
Reviews new designs, enhancements and programs for operating efficiencies.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
7-8 years of progressive IT experience, with focus on software development
A strong skill set of leading modules within a project and working in an onshore/offshore model
Excellent programming skills in C# using ASP.NET 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+ framework
Practical familiarity with .NET Design Patterns (GoF)
Proven experience of using Visual Studio 2008/2010/2013 and Perforce
Experience working on XML, XSLT, X.PATH and JSON
Proven experience of using Microsoft Enterprise library 4.1
Experience working on SOAP, HTTP, HTTPS
Ability to singlehandedly build and implement security best practices (OWASP)
Proven experience in dealing and fixing PenTest and AppScan findings
Ability to work off hours and adjust work time according to the project requirements
Excellent analytical and research skills
Ability to design database tables, views, triggers, indexes, and functions, writing stored procedures, CLRs, DMLs and optimizing performance techniques using SQL Server 2016
Excellent SQL skills, managing databases, reviewing code and providing support for database and environment related requests
Excellent communication skills and good understanding of Lending domain and lending base products
Ability to provide technical training to the team and support building talent.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
Experience on reporting tools like Crystal reports, Logi analytics is a plus
Experience on security tools like WAF will be an added advantage
Travel required: 20%
