JOB TITLE: Sr. Aircraft Technician (A&P)
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $36.04 per hour

Summary:
Independently perform aircraft modifications and maintenance, including removal and installation of airframes, landing gear, engines, electrical components, and control systems, ensuring compliance with procedures and specifications.
Complete periodic maintenance and servicing of aircraft systems within quoted or standard CMP times.
Provide work direction to technicians and act as Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) in their absence.
Coordinate with the Inspection department to meet FAA and internal inspection requirements.
Ensure proper documentation and high-quality standards are maintained.
Use material tracking system for parts demand and labor charge
Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to maintain clean, organized workspaces
Safely dispose of waste materials
Maintain and use company tools and equipment properly
Participate in flight tests for aircraft certification as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required
4 years of Aviation Maintenance experience, with 3 years on mid/large aircraft
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required
Valid Driver's License required
Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection, maintenance procedures, and technical reference materials (manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, etc.)
Familiarity with FAA regulations, Repair Station manuals, and company policies
Must be proficient in English (read, write, speak, and understand)
