Location: Wichita, KS
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Flexibility to work any shift as needed)
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 months)
Pay Rate: $89.28 per hour

What You’ll Do

You’ll be at the heart of aircraft structural design, collaborating across engineering disciplines:

• Apply knowledge of engineering and physical science principles, materials, and tools in a collaborative environment to develop, integrate, document and evaluate flight vehicle structure designs for performance, functional adequacy, cost effectiveness, manufacturability ,and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

• Primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, weights, and lofting.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

• 5–8 years of experience with BS, 3–6 years with MS, or 0–3 years with PhD

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Structural design principles

  • Metallic and composite materials

  • Nacelle structures and payload integration

  • CAD tools such as CATIA V5 and 3DX

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment

• Experience in aerospace or aviation structural design

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and structural optimization
