Lead, Engineering Conformity Planning

Description:
• Interact with Engineering Leads and DERs to understand the criteria for determining the need for FAA conformity inspection
• Interact with other parts of the organization to ensure that the data in company systems reflect the engineering definition and is sufficient to successufully plan conformity plannning.
• Provide accurate and concise reports that reflect current status and trends.
• Recommend actions to correct possible deviations and / or concerning trends
• Work with its own team and IS to create a database to collect, reconcile and correct discrepant data in company systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the work and support the team that will:
• Reconcile what is planned to be conformed to data in company system
• Entry of “Required Conformity” in Company electronic form
• Create objects in Teamcenter to hold information related to items requiring FAA conformity that do not exist in Teamcenter
• Support the creation of RFCs in Teamcenter
• Reconcile / ensure existence of QRs for released drawings requiring conformity
• Create and keep updated a “database” to hold or connect the following information
• Enter SCM information in the RFC
• Track the completion of RFC in Teamcenter
• Enter RFC information in NACIP
• Reconcile RFC needs with what SAP QNs that track it have
• Create associated reports
• Communicate status to management and other departments
• Follow up on DERs answers to Discrepancies

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
• BS in Data Management / Business Administration / Engineering
• Mininum of 5 years working with FAA related processes of conformity inspection
• Excellent data analysis and communication skills
• Minimum of 5 years as advanced user of Product Life-Cycle management products, preferably Teamcenter.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel

Physical Requirements:
1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.
7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
8. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided “reach assistance technology” or “movement assist technology” (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly’s, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
