Avionics Engineer IV / Cable Harnesses

Duties:
** Candidates must be U.S. Citizens **

** Permanent residents are NOT eligible for this role **

** Dual citizens are NOT eligible for this role. Also, candidates with a current non-U.S. passport in addition to a U.S. passport are NOT acceptable **

-Support Electro-Mechanical Packaging of complex electrical/electronic assemblies.

-Extensive knowledge of electronic packaging design for harsh environments, with Aerospace and/or military experience.

-Experience is design of cables and harnesses for applications for Aerospace products.

-Proficiency in use of Creo PDM/Link and Windchill.

-Additional proficiency with GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Skills: •Prior experience and detailed knowledge of Windchill PDMLink 10.1 or greater
◦Previous experience with MODELCHECK preferred
•Proficiency with Creo Parametric 2.0 (or greater) with extensive knowledge of:
◦Large Assembly Management, Simplified Representations, Combination States
◦Top Down Design with Skeletons including Publish Geometry, Copy Geometry, and Shrinkwraps
◦Mechanism Design
◦Advanced part modeling techniques including the use of relations, analysis features, and flexible components
•Experience with Creo Cabling including
◦Utilizing logical reference data (automated routing)
◦Harness flattening using Creo Harness-MFG extension
•Working knowledge of Creo Schematics 2.0 desired including:
◦Block Diagram to Wiring Diagram Schematic Development (aka “BID to WID”)

Diagram creation utilizing a Central Catalog

Education: •BSME with 10 years of experience or 15 + years of equivalent experience
