Manufacturing Engineer wGibbCam & Secret Clearance

Description:
*This is a full time, 6 month year contract position located in Lexington, KY*

We are hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for generating, implementing and updating CNC special programs. Candidates will need to be reading technical documents, supporting process reviews, throughout the DoD subcontract manufacturing facility.

Daily duties will include improving and creating specialized processes, conducting design reviews, working with staff to ensure processes perform as expected and troubleshooting problems and coming up with workarounds when they do not, optimizing processes, develop tooling,

Required:
*Floor Manufacturing Engineering experience within a Secret Cleared facility
*Knowledge of GibbsCam and machining principles
*Able to read and generate work instructions, blueprints, and other plans including tolerances.
*Experience reviewing engineering designs for producibility; experience in shop floor liaison support
*Experience with Development of work centers, lead times, routings, and manufacturing bill of materials.
*Active Secret (or Interim) Clearance
*Engineering degree

Pluses:
*Experience with upgrade/retrofit shop environment
*Experience with Teamcenter and Jobscope Engineering software
*Tool design experience
*Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (Green or Black Belt)
