Jr. IT Business Analyst

Description:
Location: Burbank, CA
Rate: DOE
Direct Hire

Job Purpose:
1. The position of Jr. IT Business Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs, as well as documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives, and formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies.
2. The Junior Level Business Analyst candidate will work with our ERP implementation team and be trained to Infor XA ERP.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organization as a whole.
2. Document business and technical requirements for maintenance, new or changing applications.
3. Create and update internal operational reports utilizing BI, reporting and SQL tools.
4. Provides configuration and support of software (Mainly Infor XA ERP and Smarteam EDM).
5. Coordinates small projects, enhancements, and bug fixes.
6. Extracts and analyzes data from system to determine trends, issues and root cause.
7. Provides deep analysis to trouble shoot data and software issues.
8. Works with our client's corporate team (France) and software vendors in support of systems.
9. End-user support.
10. Serves as expert for assigned software applications Provides root cause analysis and determination.
11. Provides effective end-user training.
12. Help writing end-user documentations.
13. Monitors systems performance after implementation.

Education/Skills:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Project Management or related field.
2. Microsoft Office tools.
3. Database and SQL knowledge.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.
5. A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
