Sr. Network Administrator

Location: Orlando, FL
Rate: $50/hr
Duration: 6 Month W2 Contract, 9/80
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN; NO DUAL CITIZENSHIP**

Duties:
A major aerospace company is looking for a temporary Network Administrator to act as network architecture specialist for IT systems across two geographic locations. This is a multi-tasking environment that demands customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Skills Required:
Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Prepares or ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions. Provide monitoring, maintenance and advanced support of voice, data, and/or video communications networks across the enterprise. Participates in major network installations and upgrades.

Desired:
-7 years of overall experience preferred.
-5+ years of Cisco experience, preferred CCNP, or higher.
•5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
•In depth knowledge of WAN/LAN, to include Cisco-based routers, switches, and firewalls
•In depth knowledge of network technologies and protocols including Trunking, VTP, Layer 2 & 3 Port-channels, Port-Security, EIGRP, OSPF, QoS, BGP, and MPLS.
•Operating Systems: Cisco IOS, Microsoft Windows, Linux, Unix
•Applications/Technologies: Active Directory, Wireshark Microsoft Exchange, Sophos UTM, VOIP
•Experience with Unified Threat Management solutions (Firewall, IPS, Web Proxy, etc)
•Security Information Event Management (SIEM) implementation and operation
•Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.
•DoD 8570.1 compliant certification (e.g. Security +, CISSP, etc.)
•Ability to work overtime and weekends required on occasion

Education:
BS in Information Technology or related field required

CCNP
CISSP
