Location: Centennial, CO
Pay Rate: DOE
Duration: 1 Year W2 Contract

Description:
Provide software development support for an internal-facing set of web applications and command line scripts in complex environments. Required skill set includes JavaScript, Perl (or other related scripting language), HTML, XML, Linux, Oracle (or other relational database), JSON, and object-oriented design. Preferred skill set includes CSS, Flex, Matlab, Java, C++, Django and Atlassian (or other Agile software). Activities include learning custom frameworks, support of Agile planning and status meetings, development of software modules, and status tracking of software issues. This position is for the Software Tools group. Software tools is in charge of developing software tools that improve the efficiency of engineering execution at this Company.

Job Function
• Develop bug fixes when users encounter errors
• Troubleshooting and investigation when end users encounter unexpected behavior
• Design and implement tooling enhancements as users encounter unexpected behavior or develop new use cases
• Design and implement tooling enhancements as new requirements emerge due to changes to the engineering products or launch vehicles supported by the team
• Design and develop new tools to support emergent business needs
• Documentation of work products generated
Required Qualifications
• Experience with Perl, JavaScript, Python, Flex, HTML, XML, JSON, SQL, CSS, Java, Matlab, Linux
• Experience with object-oriented design
• Experience developing web applications
• Experience with command line scripting and complex development environments
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a Scrum environment
• Experience with Atlassian tool set
• Experience with Django library
• Experience with C++
