Ground Test Support

Description:
Our client in Stratford, CT has Ground Test Engineering positions for multiple helicopter fatigue test programs. Contracts will be 12+ months.

Responsibilities include test planning, coordination with customers (both internal and external), instrumentation type and location selection, pre-test stress/strain predictions using FEM and/or other analysis software tools, test conduct, post-test correlation analysis, results reporting and development of final conclusions and recommendations. Requires prior test experience or fatigue analysis experience with a strong understanding of test correlation, data reduction and test methodology. Requires knowledge of both classical and FEM methods in addition to testing principles.

Candidates should have 10-15 yrs relevant experience in ground test, fatigue analysis or a combination of both. Strong verbal and written communications skills required.
