Summary:
Seeking an experienced Engineering Checker to evaluate F-16 retrofit and production engineering designs, including 3D models and drawings. Responsibilities include identifying design compatibility errors, ensuring all features are accurate and meet contractual, company, and program requirements.
Must have expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) based on ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) systems with 3D experience is essential.
The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Required Skills:
Proficient in CATIA.
Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and Y14.5 GD&T.
Experience in drawing/model checking, design, and engineering change processes.
Ability to thrive in a model-centric environment and proficiency with PC operations and MS Office Suite.
Experience working in fast-paced settings with tight schedules.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Chemical, etc.).
CATIA experience.
Familiarity with ASME Y14.100 Drawings and Y14.5 GD&T, with prior experience in drawing/model checking and engineering change processes.
