MRB LIaison Engineer

Description:
MRB Liaison position supporting Bombardier Program, in Red Oak, Texas.

Responsibilities:
Perform Material Review dispositions (MRB) on detail and metal assembly structure for on the Bombardier G7000 program. Responsible for technical compliance to all specification requirements and program guidelines. Must understand primary structure vs secondary structure load paths. Repair criteria must include static, and durability and / or damage tolerance analysis / evaluations. Assignments are typically performed without appreciable direction.

Proficiency with CATIA V5 modeling, ENOVIA applications recommended. Proficiency with all MS Office software applications would be a plus.

Position requires sound engineering judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interface constructively and effectively in a dynamic team environment. Must have the ability to work on complex technical problems in an independent manner and provide solutions which are innovative.

Qualifications:
Candidate should possess a B.S. or better in AE, ME, or CE; a minimum of 6 years prior aerospace structures engineering experience. However advanced degrees or post-graduate work may be used in conjunction with work experience; and prior MRB Liaison experience preferred or basic familiarity with aerospace Material Review Board (MRB) processes and production shop floor practices desirable.
